More news to come
Several unconfirmed reports floating around the web Monday afternoon mentioned that the Pines Pavillion property may be up for sale again after delays rebuilding the burned out structure. Recent visitors to the island have seen progress made rebuilding the Danikki Building that housed Sip and Twirl, Bistro, and several other businesses- with its foundation pilings set in place. The Pavillion lot has remained untouched after the debris was cleared eventhough permits for reconstruction have already been issued. Andrew Kirtzman, Co-Owner of the Pavillion provided no further information when asked by Michael Musto of The VIllage Voice for comment on the sale ”I don’t have anything for you, unfortunately, but wanted to get back to you. I hope to speak with you soon.” .
